Cauliflower Tahini
Cauliflower seasoned with a few simple spices and topped with a creamy golden turmeric tahini sauce.
Ingredients * 1 large head of cauliflower * 1⁄2 tsp salt * 1⁄2 tsp black pepper * 1 tsp paprika * 1 tsp garlic powder * 1⁄2 tsp cumin * Olive oil
Turmeric Tahini * 1⁄4 cup tahini * 1⁄4 cup cold water * 1.5 tbsp lemon juice * 1 tsp garlic powder * 1⁄2 tsp turmeric * 1⁄4 tsp salt
How to make it 1. Preheat your oven to 400 F 2. Rinse the cauliflower well and cut off the leaves and stem. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and and boil the cauliflower for 20 minutes 3. Gently remove the cauliflower and place on a sheet pan 4. Drizzle generously with olive oil. Combine the spices together then rub them over the cauliflower 5. Add an extra drizzle of olive oil. Bake for 40-45 minutes, then broil on high for the last 3 minutes 6. Whisk together the turmeric tahini ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more water as needed 7. Pour over the cauliflower when ready to serve and top with fresh parsley or cilantro.
