Cauliflower Tahini
Cauliflower seasoned with a few simple spices and topped with a creamy golden turmeric tahini sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Olive oil
Turmeric Tahini
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1.5 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp salt
How to make it
- Preheat your oven to 400 F
- Rinse the cauliflower well and cut off the leaves and stem. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and and boil the cauliflower for 20 minutes
- Gently remove the cauliflower and place on a sheet pan
- Drizzle generously with olive oil. Combine the spices together then rub them over the cauliflower
- Add an extra drizzle of olive oil. Bake for 40-45 minutes, then broil on high for the last 3 minutes
- Whisk together the turmeric tahini ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more water as needed
- Pour over the cauliflower when ready to serve and top with fresh parsley or cilantro.
